Arab Weather - Weather experts at the Arab Weather Regional Center are monitoring the latest numerical computer modeling, which shows the separation of a huge polar air mass from the polar vortex and rushing directly, for the first time in this way since the beginning of the season, towards the European continent, bringing with it extremely low and bitterly cold temperatures, with heavy snowfall in many areas and at low altitudes.

A very cold air mass will separate from the polar vortex and will rush directly towards large areas of Europe next week.

In detail, the latest outputs of the numerical models at Arab Weather indicate that large parts of Europe will be affected during the coming week, especially the second half of it, by the rush of a very cold air mass coming from the Arctic Circle. This mass is expected to head south to cover vast areas of northern and central Europe, and may extend to its south. This mass is the result of the separation of part of the polar vortex due to changes in weather systems, which will make the weather noticeably and unusually cold for this time of year.

Temperatures are expected to drop significantly in many European countries, becoming lower than their average for this time of year. Forecasts indicate that temperatures will reach very cold levels, especially during the night hours, which increases the chances of frost formation. This cold air mass is accompanied by a high probability of snowfall in the northern highlands and some plains in Central Europe, where snow may accumulate in several areas, which will lead to difficulty in movement and possibly the closure of some roads. Snow may include large cities in northern Europe, which threatens to affect air and train traffic, in addition to increasing demand for heating services.

And God knows best.
