Weather of Arabia - The Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy in Kuwait reassured the consumer public of overcoming the load crisis and programmed disconnection, stressing the importance of continued rationalization to preserve energy and remain in a safe mode, especially during the current and next months, while emphasizing the necessity of rationalization throughout the year.
According to the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Rai, the Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Customer Services, Engineer Falah Al-Mutairi, explained that citizens and residents have overcome the programmed shutdown crisis, saying:
“The crisis has subsided, praise be to God, and things are very good,” but he stressed the importance of societal rationalization of electricity and water consumption, and cooperation with the ministry in this vital issue.

Al-Mutairi pointed to the Ministry’s efforts to support rationalization by providing incentives to customers who rationalize their consumption, highlighting the “Hafiz” program for rationalization that the Ministry launched in 2021. This program allows customers who rationalize their consumption to obtain sums of money equivalent to twice the amount of rationalization.
Al-Mutairi explained the benefits of the program, saying: “If the customer saves less than 20% of his consumption, he gets twice the value of what he saved as amounts in his account. But if he saves 20% or more, he gets a 40% discount on the value of the bill. With regard to the water bill, if he saves The customer who pays 25% or more gets a 50% discount on the invoice value.
