Weather of Arabia - Khartoum International Airport received 12 Ethiopian planes, which made an emergency landing within 6 hours between Sunday night and Monday morning, according to the Sudan News Agency (SUNA).

Airport services and its absolutely normal flight schedules.”

Adlan added that "Khartoum Airport acts as a backup airport for Addis Ababa Airport in such circumstances, according to agreed international arrangements, but it has never before received 12 Ethiopian planes within 6 hours."

The Sudanese official indicated that two additional Ethiopian planes had diverted their destinations to the airports of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia and Djibouti.
