وجاء الدكتور ياسر بن راشد الدوسري الأستاذ امساعد بجامعة الملك سعود ليكون إماماً في المسجد الحرام، وهو حاصل على البكالوريوس من كلية الشريعة بجامعة الإمام محمد بن سعود الإسلامية 23 - 1424 هـ، ومتزوج ولديه ابنان وبنتان، ومن أهم المساجد التي تولى الإمامة فيها منذ 1416هـ جامع الشيخ عبدالعزيز بن باز بحي الغدير، وحالياً جامع الدخيل بحي الشهداء.
