Arab Weather - Sinan Khalaf - The forecast team at the Arab Regional Weather Center confirmed that the current tropical turbulence in the Arabian Sea, which was classified as a tropical depression , faces many weather factors that greatly limit its development.
Shear winds are defined as the change in wind speed and direction in both vertical and horizontal directions, as these winds weaken and limit the vertical growth of cumulus thunderstorms, that is, they hinder the process of increasing the thickness of the clouds, and thus become shallow and stratified and thus weaken the tropical system, in addition to the activity of Strong monsoon winds known as monsoons.

The growth and development of tropical conditions depends mainly and largely on the presence of a water body with a depth of more than 60 meters and a water temperature higher than 27 degrees Celsius, and hot water is considered the operating fuel for this tropical system, and here we find that the temperature of the Arabian Sea ranges between 26-27 degrees Celsius, That is, it is unable to supply orbital activity with sufficient energy for further development.
As the tropical depression approaches the Sea of Oman, it is expected to encounter a flow of dry winds that will penetrate from the Iranian mainland, originating from (Central Asia), and will cause the tropical situation to gradually weaken (the process of injecting the tropical state with dry winds).
