Arab Weather - The dryline is a boundary between two air masses that differ mainly in humidity, not in temperature. The dryline usually separates moist air coming from coastal or tropical areas, and dry air coming from desert areas. This line can form in the interior of continents, such as the central plains of the United States.

When the dry line moves and dry air advances into humid areas, it can lead to thunderstorms forming, especially if the weather conditions are right.
