The mesosphere is the third layer of the atmosphere and extends from the stratosphere to a height of 80 km from the Earth's surface. The temperature decreases with height in this layer, and some air vortices occur in it. There is also no water vapor. No weather phenomena occur there. At the end of this layer there is an imaginary surface called mesopause.
