Arab Weather - An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale struck the Philippines on Friday, causing buildings to shake in the Philippine capital, Manila. The US Geological Survey said that the earthquake struck at a shallow depth and about 100 kilometers south of Manila on Friday morning.
The authorities expressed their fear that the earthquake might have caused damage and also warned of aftershocks due to the fear of citizens and their flight to the streets of the capital for fear of the collapse of buildings.
