Arab Weather - The Kingdom's correspondent said, on Friday evening, that searches are continuing for a missing person who was swept away by torrents from the Al-Khudary Valley towards the Hadalat Dam northwest of Al-Ruwaished, provided that the search for the missing will be intensified on Saturday morning.

The correspondent explained that a report came at dawn on Friday, according to which three people were swept away by torrents from Wadi Al-Khudary towards Al-Hadalat Dam northwest of Al-Ruwaished

After the accident, people went to search for the missing, then one of them died and was transferred to Al-Ruwaished Governmental Hospital, and search and rescue teams searched for the three missing, backed by an air support plane.

The bodies of only two were found missing, and they were taken to Al-Ruwaished Governmental Hospital, and then to the forensic medicine department at Mafraq Governmental Hospital.

The director of Al-Ruwaished Governmental Hospital, Musa Abu Arqoul, confirmed the matter and said that three bodies arrived at the hospital before they were transferred to the "forensic medicine".

A public security statement said on Friday evening, "The search and rescue teams and the Royal Badia Police, through their search and combing of the area where the torrents surrounded three people, they were able to find their three bodies, mercy of God, and they were transferred to the hospital."

The correspondent of the "Kingdom" explained that the Ruwaished area contains basalt rocks in a large number, and includes a large number of pools of water, dams and bottoms in the north of Al-Ruwaished, and in the vicinity of Al-Ruwaished, there was a state of air instability, which led to the gathering of water and floods coming and going to Syria.

He pointed out that the civil defense teams had difficulty accessing the site due to the rugged road, which prompted them to bring an air support plane to search for the missing.

"The nature of the area is very rugged and there are large water swamps, and there are dams such as the Burqa and Hadalat dam and a number of large water bodies in the northwestern Ruwaished area, and it is difficult to reach them except by its residents who know the roads," according to the correspondent.
