Arab Weather - The latest satellite images from the Arab Weather Regional Center indicate the formation of a deep desert depression in the middle of the Algerian desert, accompanied by a very warm air mass and activity in wind speed, which leads to the raising of dust waves that may reach the level of a sandstorm in central and eastern Algeria.
God willing, the desert depression is expected to move eastward on Tuesday, which means attracting more warm air from the depths of the tropics towards Libya. Temperatures will rise, especially in areas away from marine influences. The weather will be warm and dusty in several areas of western Libya, and the winds will be active with strong gusts reaching nearly 60 km/h, stirring up sand.
Experts at the Arab Weather Regional Center indicated that the effects of the desert weather system will be accompanied by unstable weather conditions in western Libya and eastern and central Algeria, God willing, as a result of the approach of a cold air mass in the upper layers of the atmosphere that interacts with the warm air on the surface. What enhances the process of lifting the air is the presence of a desert depression on the surface, where cumulus clouds multiply and heavy thunderstorms fall, which may be accompanied by hail and sudden descending winds, which may cause the formation of torrents and a rise in water levels.
And God knows best.
