Weather of Arabia - It seemed that the giant maps of the Internet search engines "Google" had spotted a plane that fell in the rainforests in Australia, so the matter puzzled many, and they offered several explanations to solve its mystery.
A careful user spotted what appeared to be a perfectly intact plane over a treeless area of the Cardwell Mountain Range, 249 kilometers south of Port Douglas in the northeastern Australian state of Queensland, according to the New York Post .
Australian safety officials said it was likely just a glitch in Google's satellite software.
The Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority spoke of the "ghost images", which appeared to be real, denying their work with the loss of any passenger plane.
It is believed that the plane was either a "Boeing A320" or "Boeing 737", and was flying at a low altitude, giving the impression that it was on the ground, and this is one of the explanations put forward.
In 2016, there were reports of a plane that crashed into Lake Minneapolis and reached its bottom, based on Google Maps images.
But the search engine giant said at the time that the satellite image that appears on the Internet is a compilation of several images.
He pointed out that fast objects such as aircraft appear in one of these images that are used for a specific area, and therefore faint remnants of these fast-moving objects appear.
Google has not confirmed that this applies to the image of the plane in Australia.
