Arab Weather - The latest numerical computer modeling outputs indicate that a cold air mass is rushing into eastern Europe, with its effects extending to the waters of the eastern part of the Mediterranean Sea. However, it will quickly lose its coldness as a result of the warming of the surface waters of the Mediterranean Sea, and will turn into a moderate and humid air mass that will cause a drop in temperatures in the Levant, Egypt, Iraq and the northern Arabian Peninsula. The weather will thus become colder than usual, especially at night.
In detail, meteorologists at the Arab Weather Center said that the effects of the spring air mass are expected to begin on Thursday and intensify on Friday, with temperatures dropping significantly to below annual averages for this time of year. The weather will be moderate along the North Coast, Lower Egypt, Greater Cairo, and northern Upper Egypt during the afternoon, while it will remain hot in southern Upper Egypt.
Low clouds will also appear over northern Egypt, and the weather will turn partly cloudy at times, especially in the morning, with the possibility of scattered showers on the North Coast and the northern part of Lower Egypt. Moderate northwesterly winds will prevail, sometimes stirring up sand in desert areas.
Maximum temperatures in Greater Cairo will range between 21 and 24 degrees Celsius, especially on Friday and Saturday, which will reduce electricity bills. In northern coastal areas, such as Alexandria, temperatures will range between 24 and 27 degrees Celsius. In southern Egypt, such as Aswan, temperatures will remain high, between 35 and 38 degrees Celsius.
Nighttime temperatures are expected to drop compared to previous nights, with the weather expected to be pleasant and refreshing in northern Egypt. It will become relatively cool during the late nights, dawn, and early mornings, while the weather will remain warm in the south. Low clouds will appear, which may lead to the formation of fog in the early morning hours, especially on agricultural roads and areas near bodies of water.
And God knows best.
