Arab Weather - Many countries in the region will be affected in the coming days with the last days of autumn from an astronomical perspective and before the winter solstice, as an upper air depression passes, resulting in unstable weather conditions that include many countries in the region, accompanied by weather fluctuations and chances of rain at intervals, God willing.
In detail, an upper air depression is rushing from southern Europe towards northern Libya, taking an unusual path through the depths of the Libyan desert, and continues to move slowly towards the west inside the Libyan desert. Due to the rare path taken by the air depression, it interacts with warm air currents from the south, which results in a state of atmospheric instability accompanied by rain of varying intensity in many areas, especially the southern and desert regions, and the rain is heavy thunderstorms in some geographical areas, which causes water levels to rise and water pools to occur.
The low pressure system will gradually move westward during Thursday and Friday (the last days of autumn before the winter solstice), crossing Egyptian territory, resulting in unstable weather conditions accompanied by showers of rain in many Egyptian regions, extending to the Levant and the north of the Arabian Peninsula, accompanied by chances of showers of rain that may sometimes be thundery.
Despite the limited rainfall opportunities in the eastern Mediterranean basin, the region is still witnessing a significant weakness in the performance of the rainy season, as the region has witnessed a long period of rain drought and a significant weakness in rainfall amounts, which require mature and integrated conditions to compensate for the severe shortage in water harvest.
God knows best.
