ArabiaWeather.com- A large shark prevented an Australian swimmer from setting a Guinness World Record.

The Australian swimmer Simon Dominguez (49 years old) had decided to cut the distance between the Golden Gate Bridge and the Farallon Islands, which is 45 km. But after he covered a distance of 38.6 km, a large shark appeared next to him, forcing him to board the boat he was accompanying in this attempt, thus stopping the attempt to record the record.

"I'm really upset," Dominguez says. "But you can't go against nature when you decide to send a shark towards us."

It should be noted that only four swimmers have managed to cover this distance so far in this direction, but no one has covered it in the opposite direction. So Dominguez vowed to make it happen.
