Arab Weather - Meteorologists at the Arab Weather Regional Center said that the latest computer model outputs indicate an intensification of weather disturbances and a heavy rain wave affecting the United States, particularly those overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, accompanied by the formation of supercell clouds and severe tornadoes.
After reviewing the latest advanced computer outputs, forecasters at the Arab Weather Center said that an extremely cold upper wave is coming from the north and will cross the United States. This will coincide with an influx of extremely warm and humid air coming from the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico, causing the formation of severe thunderstorms believed to be supercells, which are associated with severe weather phenomena. This type of supercell is accompanied by heavy rainfall with high rates of intensity, in addition to being accompanied by strong thunderstorms and the fall of large and dense hailstones. The exceptional weather conditions are expected to include several states of the United States, especially Texas, Oklahoma, and the surrounding states overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.
The weather forecasting team at the Arab Weather Regional Center indicated that tornadoes are a very common weather event in the United States, resulting from strong atmospheric disturbances. The southern states of North America have been affected by atmospheric disturbances resulting from the rush of cold, dry winds from the north, which coincide with warm, moist air currents coming across the Gulf of Mexico. It is well known in meteorology that the greater the difference between the characteristics of the winds that meet, the more frequent, intense, and dangerous the atmospheric disturbances.
The latest numerical modeling readings indicate that cold, dry winds will continue to converge with warm, moist ones today and in the coming days, with strong atmospheric disturbances expected to continue affecting southern North America. This includes southern Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and all the way to Georgia and northern Florida. The potential for tornadoes to form due to the strong thunderstorms affecting these regions will continue, increasing the risk of flash flooding in many areas.
And God knows best.
