Weather of Arabia - The Council of Ministers in Egypt approved a draft law regarding the return of the summer time system, and this comes in light of what the world is witnessing in terms of economic conditions and changes, and in an effort by the government to rationalize energy exploitation.
Daylight saving time begins in the Arab Republic of Egypt as of the last Friday of April, and continues for a period of 6 months until the end of the last Thursday of October of each Gregorian year, so that the followed hour is advanced by sixty minutes.
The law comes to restore the summer time, years after its abolition. In 2015, Law No. 24 of 2015 was issued to stop the summer time and not apply it in the future.
Egypt stopped working in the summer time in 2011 after the revolution of January 25, a decision that was met with great relief at the time, before the decision to return to work again in 2014, only to be stopped in 2015, until today it returned to the Council of Ministers.
