Weather of Arabia - Al-Shoubak is located in the south of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, 240 km from the capital, Amman, and it was named after the dense intertwining of its trees. Where several civilizations passed through it, which indicated its spatial and historical value.
Al-Shoubak District belongs to Ma’an Governorate, and its area is estimated at 640 square kilometers, which is equivalent to 2% of the area of Ma’an Governorate. Al-Faisaliah, Al-Mansoura, Bir Al-Dabbaghat, Al-Baqa’a and Al-Shamakh, Al-Hadadah, Al-Zaytouna) and some population centers in traditional villages such as Abu Maktoub and Al-Jaya.
The Al-Shobak district is the highest inhabited area in the Kingdom, as it forms part of the Al-Sharah mountain range. The highest in the series of gluttony, and characterized by severe cold in winter.
Shobak is full of beautiful landscapes and distinctive geological formations. Tourist trips are organized to it through specialized agencies that provide excitement and fun, and sometimes it requires camping and therefore staying in the area for several days in order to be able to visit the distant places there.

It is a valley located in the northern part of Al-Shobak on the outskirts of the town of Mansoura. It is one of the ramifications of the rift pit and is characterized by greenery and water springs.
A forest forest rises about 1700 meters above sea level, and therefore it is one of the highest regions in the Kingdom. It is a first-class resort overlooking stone valleys called Al-Bayda, and snow falls frequently in the winter.
Its scenery can be supervised and thus descended to through the heights of Al-Jaher and Shamakh, and in addition to the charm of natural life in it, these areas can be a mine for geology students because of the strange formations and fossils they contain.

Al-Shobak Castle - with the conquest of Al-Baa and Tskin Al-Kaf - is located between Al-Karak and Petra, as it is 120 km from the city of Al-Karak to the south, and from Petra 35 km to the north, while it is 230 km from Amman by the desert line.
The castle is perched on top of the Al-Sharah Mountains, 1330 meters above sea level. It is surrounded by valleys on its four sides: Wadi Al-Hammat from the east and north, Wadi Al-Raghaya from the south, Wadi Muqat Al-Raisin from the west, and the distance between the mountain and the bottoms of the surrounding valleys. It ranges from 100 meters in the northwestern part to about 250 meters in the east.
It includes nine towers and a number of wonderful landmarks inside, such as the church, the Ayyubid palace, the bathroom, and the tunnel leading to the bottom of the valley, which contains 365 degrees, in addition to many Islamic inscriptions and decorations. Also, the site of this period (Ayyubid / Mamluk).
