“Al-Zaaq”: Today is the last of the hot months, and at the end of it, the weather begins to improve at night

Weather of Arabia - Meteorologist Dr. Khalid bin Saleh Al-Zaaq said that today, Monday, is the beginning of the month of Safar, which is the last hot month of the Hijri year 1446. He explained that the weather will begin to improve from the end of the night, and it is expected that the improvement in the weather will begin during the day after 40 days.

Why was the month of Safar given this name?

Al-Zaaq added, in a video he posted on his “X” account, that the month of Safar was named by this name. Because the regions were losing their population due to the search for livelihood, whether through invasion or travel in search of pasture and spring. He pointed out that the Arabic proverb “empty hands” refers to poverty or lack of resources.

Al-Zaaq confirmed that the ancient Arabs were pessimistic about the month of Safar, adding that the first half of the month this year witnesses the heat of “Al-Marzam and Al-Kulaibin,” while the second half comes the Suhail season, and the weather begins to cool gradually in the last days of the month.
