Arab Weather - The weather in April 2021 was very warm in all regions of most of the month, and temperatures were remarkably higher than their usual rates, and the month was not without some days that could be described as hot. Five air depressions and an early heat wave, and the arrival of swarms of locusts to some Jordanian cities, including the capital, Amman.
April 2021 recorded a high rate compared to previous years, as it rose by an average of 3 degrees Celsius above the average, and April of this year, along with 2016 and 2008, is considered the warmest in the last 20 years at least, as the maximum temperatures were recorded as an average during daylight hours 27 Degrees Celsius in Amman and 33 degrees Celsius in Aqaba throughout the month.
Data from the meteorological monitoring station at Amman Civil Airport in the Marka region showed that the maximum temperature there was recorded on Monday 19/4/2021 to about 36.5 degrees Celsius, and by going back to the archive monitoring data of the airport, the recorded maximum temperature is considered the highest in 13 years in the month of April. The temperature on April 24 2008 is about 37 degrees Celsius.

During the month, the Kingdom was affected by one air depression that was classified as first-class, which is the weakest degree according to the scale of the severity of the depressions in Arab weather, and showers of rain fell as a result in parts of the northern and central regions, and when comparing the amounts of precipitation in this month with the monthly average, We find that no area came close to its monthly average, as only 1 mm of rain fell in the capital, Amman, which is equivalent to 12% of the monthly average.
