June is the first day of Eid al-Fitr, given that the crescent moon will stay 41 minutes in Algiers.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Many committees and countries will announce the sighting of the crescent and announce Friday as the first day of Eid al-Fitr, namely: the Crescent Sighting Committee in Japan, the Islamic Committee for the Crescent Investigation in Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, the Sultanate of Brunei, Sudan, Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon, Palestine, Libya, Tunisia, Nigeria, Mauritania, Pakistan, Iran, the Council of the Union of Scholars in South Africa and the Islamic Observatory for Monitoring Crescents in France, as well as the Association of Scholars Accord in the United Kingdom, the Islamic Observatory for the Italian Crescent, the Crescent Observation Committee in Toronto and its environs in Canada, the Chicago Crescent Observation Committee and the North American Crescent Observation Committee, which is also the official beginning approved in Turkey and the European Council for Fatwa and Research and the countries affiliated with their calendar.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> As for the sighting of the crescent in the Kingdom of Morocco, as soon as the sun sets in the city of Figuig, as it is the first city in which the sun sets, correspondence will start from more than 260 specialized committees in various Moroccan cities confirming the sighting of the crescent, reaching the headquarters of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in Rabat, where it will be clearly seen with the naked eye in all Moroccan cities as an example only the crescent It will set in Dakhla 47 minutes after sunset, and it will be 24 hours old, and at 20:32, which is the hour of sunset in Dakhla, as it is the last city in which the sun sets, the announcement will be made through official channels and with the sound of the cannon, as usual.
