Arab Weather - The media spokesman for the Public Security Directorate said that the specialized rescue and ambulance teams in the Ma'an Civil Defense Directorate responded today to a number of reports indicating the presence of a number of cases of shortness of breath resulting from heavy dust.

The ambulance teams provided the necessary first aid to (13) people of Arab nationality who suffered from shortness of breath due to the heavy dust. They were provided with the necessary first aid and secured to a safe area.
Nine other people were treated for shortness of breath inside their vehicles due to the dust and were taken to a safe area away from the dust.
The Civil Defense Directorate also responded to a number of reports indicating that a number of vehicles were trapped on the desert road, which was witnessing heavy dust.
The Public Security Directorate calls on citizens traveling on the desert road to take precautions due to the low horizontal visibility and its absence in some areas, and to follow the instructions of the security personnel deployed along the entire road and to close the windows of their vehicles so that dust does not enter their vehicles and not to hesitate to call the unified emergency number 911 if necessary.
