Civil Defense: Heating with oil is good and does not draw oxygen

ArabiaWeather.com – In response to a question asked by one of its followers on Twitter, the Civil Defense Department confirmed that heating with oil is good, and does not withdraw oxygen unlike other types of heating.

The information came in response to a question by one of the tweeters for the Civil Defense account on the social networking site “Twitter”, in which he said: “In the clip warning about electric heaters, you mentioned that they draw oxygen from the room, so does oil heaters enter with them?”

The Civil Defense account responded with a tweet in which it said: “Heating with oil is good, and it does not withdraw oxygen; As it works to heat the oil, which in turn passes through tubes that warm the air.”

The account explained in a second tweet that the air, when exposed to heat, is not of the same quality as natural air, as it becomes polluted and requires ventilation of the room to renew the air.
