Al-Zayyat added that the occupancy rate in Sharm and Hurghada does not exceed 10% since the Russian plane crash, which constituted a burden on hotels after a number of countries signed travel bans to Egypt .
It is noteworthy that about nine million and 300 thousand tourists visited the country in 2015, a decrease of 6% compared to 2014, while tourism revenues were estimated at about six billion and one million dollars, down about 15% from the revenues achieved in 2014.
