Arab Weather - The results of the analyses and computer simulation data for weather forecasts at the Arab Weather Center indicate that the Kingdom will be increasingly affected during the hours of the day and night of Thursday/Friday by the Siberian high, which will continue to control the stable atmosphere, with an increase in the cold weather due to the dry eastern winds.
God willing, temperatures are expected to rise slightly to become higher than their usual rates for this time of year by about two degrees Celsius, but this rise will not be noticeable due to the blowing of dry southeasterly winds, which are accompanied by some active gusts, especially in the western regions of the Kingdom, with temperatures in the capital Amman ranging between 14 - 15 degrees Celsius, while they are between 23 - 26 in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba.
On Thursday night, the weather will be cold to very cold, and temperatures will drop to around 4 degrees Celsius in the capital, Amman, and lower than that in large areas of the eastern plains and the peaks of the Shara Mountains. It is worth noting that the continued blowing of dry southeasterly winds towards the region will make the perceived temperature approach zero degrees Celsius, and the chances of frost formation will increase in the dawn and early morning hours in the Badia regions, the eastern regions, and the highlands of the south of the Kingdom.
Arab Weather experts believe that the weather will remain stable on Friday, and generally clear, with maximum temperatures around 14 degrees Celsius in the capital Amman, while they will be between 22-25 degrees Celsius in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, with southeasterly winds continuing to blow in the morning hours, and turning in the afternoon hours to become generally northwesterly.
Gradually, starting from the afternoon and evening hours of Friday, the Kingdom will begin to be affected by a state of atmospheric instability, resulting from the movement of a cold upper trough towards the region, coinciding with a surface extension of the Red Sea depression, and clouds will gradually appear at different heights, which may be interspersed with scattered and random showers of rain in some southern parts of the Kingdom, especially the city of Aqaba.
As we enter the night hours of Friday, the Kingdom is expected to be increasingly affected by a state of atmospheric instability, with the weather generally being partly cloudy, and scattered showers of rain likely in random areas, concentrated in the north of the Kingdom. The weather will be cold to very cold in general, with minimum temperatures reaching 6 degrees Celsius in the capital, Amman, at dawn and on Saturday morning.
On Saturday, temperatures will drop slightly, with the maximum in the capital Amman between 11-13 degrees Celsius, while they will be between 20-23 degrees Celsius in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba. The weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy, and there will be a chance of showers of rain in random areas of the Kingdom. These chances will decrease during the night hours, with cold to very cold weather prevailing, with temperatures remaining around 6 degrees Celsius in the capital Amman. The chances of fog formation will increase during the dawn and early morning hours, especially in the eastern plains, and God knows best.
