The President of Tafila Technical University, Omar Al-Maaytah, decided to suspend the work hours on Wednesdays and Thursdays, in order to preserve the safety of employees, and other than those whose nature of work requires otherwise, provided that all examination dates are postponed until the last official working days of the current first semester.
Balqa Applied
At Al-Balqa’ Applied University, the university’s president, Ahmed Al-Ajlouni, decided to delay the university’s working hours and all its faculties until nine o’clock in the morning.
It also decided to amend the dates of the final exams for the first semester 2021-2022, which start with the time period from (08:00 am) until (10:00 am) on Wednesday, so that the dates for these exams will be on February 10 next.
Yarmouk University
And at Yarmouk University, President Islam Massad announced the delay in the start of official working hours on Wednesdays and Thursdays, until 10 am, for the various faculties of the university and its departments.
Massad said, in a statement on Tuesday, that the decision came in view of the expected weather conditions and in order to preserve the safety of university students and employees, with the exception of employees whose nature of work requires otherwise.
Massad decided to delay the tourism and hotel culture exam session (HUM 110), which is scheduled to be held on Wednesday at (08:30-09:20) to be held on the same day at (10:30-11:20).
It also decided to postpone the first session of the Environment and Public Health Exam (SCI101), which will be held on Wednesday (09:30-10:20) to Saturday, January 22, 2022 at (12:00-12:50).
The second session of the Environment and Public Health Exam (SCI101) scheduled for Wednesday at (10:30-11:20) has been postponed to Saturday, January 22, 2022 at (13:00-13:50).
In addition to postponing the introduction to the geography exam in Jordan (HUM 112) and the first session of the digital culture exam (SCI109), which will be held on Thursday (08:30-09:20) to Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 14:00-14:00. 50).
The second session of the digital culture exam (SCI109) scheduled for Thursday (09:30-10:20) was postponed to Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 15:00-15:50.
The statement pointed out that the distribution of students to laboratories is the same distribution scheduled for previous sessions, and it was circulated to students via their e-mail.
Al al-Bayt University
At Al al-Bayt University, President Hani al-Damour decided to delay work on Wednesdays and Thursdays, due to the prevailing weather conditions.
The working hours will start at ten in the morning, except for those whose work requires otherwise, and end at four, except for those whose work requires being late with students.
Al-Damour also decided to amend the exam times on Wednesdays and Thursdays, so that the first session would be from 10-12, and the second session would be from 12:15 until 2:15, while the third session would start from 2:30 until 4:30.
University of Science and Technology
Due to the prevailing weather conditions, and in order to preserve the security and safety of students and staff at the university, the President of the Jordan University of Science and Technology, Prof. Khaled Al-Salem, decided to suspend work for this day, Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at two o'clock in the afternoon.
Those whose work nature requires otherwise are excluded from this decision.
University of Jordan
The Acting President of the University of Jordan, Dr. Salama Al-Nuaimat, decided to suspend the official working hours for students and members of the teaching and administrative staff for today, Wednesday, starting from three in the afternoon, due to the prevailing weather conditions, with the exception of those whose work nature requires otherwise, wishing safety for all.
Examinations (bachelor - postgraduate studies) scheduled to be held today, which start at three o'clock in the afternoon, have been postponed to a date that will be announced later, provided that exams that start before three o'clock will continue until their end
