ArabiaWeather.com - Two German designers have created a new concept for environmentally friendly lamps. Plants grow inside and do not need water or sun, and are intended for places where light does not enter.
The designers, Emilia Locht and Arne Sibrantek, derived their idea from the desire to add joy and a sense of nature to windowless spaces, whether in homes or offices, according to the "Beautiful Life" website.
These lamps, which are called "Mygdal Plantlamp", are designed in the form of a bulging glass mold that conducts electricity and is equipped with "LED" light, as an alternative to sunlight, in order to grow green plants naturally without harming them. There are no cables or wires running between the power supply and the LED light.
The two designers formed two different models from the molds, as they are either hanging from the ceiling or fixed in place, and the glass lamps thriving with green plants give a feeling of happiness and comfort. The designers said that these lamps provide a sustainable ecosystem that allows plants to grow for years without being negatively affected.
