Arab Weather - The latest readings from what is called computer simulation indicate the continued absence of rainy weather events in various regions of the eastern Mediterranean basin, including Iraq, in the coming days, and a high pressure system dominates all layers of the atmosphere, accompanied by an air mass with characteristics similar to those that affect the republic in the spring.
In detail, Iraq will continue to be affected in the coming days by a high pressure system in all layers of the atmosphere, accompanied by an air mass with temperatures warmer than their averages for this time of year. The weather will be more like spring than winter, with relatively cold weather prevailing in the northern and western regions, while it will be pleasant in the rest of the regions, including the capital, Baghdad. The winds will be variable in direction to light northwesterly.
God willing, temperatures in the capital Baghdad are expected to be around 17 to 20 degrees Celsius, in addition to the rest of the central and southern regions of Iraq, coinciding with the sun's rays shining, which increases the feeling of warmth. The weather will be suitable for all daily outdoor activities during the rest of the days of this week.
Despite the high temperatures during the day, the weather at night becomes remarkably cold in all areas, including the capital Baghdad, and turns very cold during the late night hours, dawn and early morning, especially in the northern and western regions. Frost is also likely to form in parts of those areas.
Recommendations:
Wear heavy clothing to cope with the cold weather.
Beware of the possibility of frost formation and freezing, especially in northern areas.
And God knows best.
