Dozens of flights cancelled and delayed due to snow in Korea

Arab Weather - 12 flights were cancelled this morning due to bad weather conditions, as heavy snowfall in the Korean capital, Seoul, disrupted domestic air traffic, according to the South Korean Yonhap News Agency.

Snow expected to continue, more flights cancelled

The agency indicated that heavy snowfall may continue until Thursday morning, which makes it likely that more flights will be cancelled in the country.

Heavy snowfall hit the capital Seoul overnight, prompting authorities to issue citywide warnings of heavy snow.

The capital Seoul recorded more than 16 centimeters of snow, setting a record for November since meteorological records began in October 1907, according to Yonhap.

Seoul Meteorological Observatory: Highest snowfall at 16.5 cm

According to data from the Seoul Jongno Meteorological Observatory, the highest snowfall as of 7 a.m. was 16.5 centimeters, an unprecedented level for this time of year.
