Arab Weather - The countries of North Africa and the Maghreb have been exposed for several days to an extreme and deep tropical system, as several parts of Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia were exposed to very heavy and local rains resulting from the exceptional flow of tropical moisture due to the advance of the tropical break towards the region in an unusual manner.
The latest outputs of numerical models in "Arab Weather" indicate that the tropical system will move east and northeast during the coming days in response to an upper wave crossing southern Europe starting tomorrow, Monday, to affect parts of Tunisia and Libya.
Weather forecasters at "Arab Weather" said that the tropical system is not expected to include the Arab Republic of Egypt, but on the contrary, the upper wave rushing south of Europe and merging with the remnants of the tropical activity in North Africa will cause the high pressure system to rush towards Egyptian lands at the end of the week, causing temperatures to rise in various regions starting from Wednesday and continuing on Thursday and Friday, so that the atmosphere becomes extremely hot, as the maximum temperature exceeds the 40 degree threshold in Cairo and large areas of the country.

Arab Weather experts said that the high pressure system will intensify over the country in the coming days and during the weekend, especially in the south, accompanied by an increase in heating of the very hot air mass. Temperatures will rise again, especially on Thursday, to be 7-9 degrees Celsius higher than their average for this time of year. The weather will be very hot in various parts of the country, and the winds will be north to northwesterly, moderate in speed, accompanied by active gusts in the afternoon that will raise sand and cause poor horizontal visibility, especially in Upper Egypt governorates.
