Arab Weather - Meteorologists at the Arab Weather Regional Center said that the latest computer model outputs indicate that the north of the country will be affected by a cooler air mass driven by the Khamaseen depression on Tuesday. Temperatures will drop to spring-like levels, reaching the mid-20s Celsius in the northern regions.
In detail, temperatures will drop significantly, becoming 3-4 degrees Celsius lower than average for this time of year in the northern regions, while the weather will be generally warm in the north of the country and central Upper Egypt.
Clouds will appear at various altitudes, with the possibility of rain showers in scattered areas in the north of the country, including Greater Cairo. Winds will be westerly to northwesterly, moderate in speed, and sometimes active.
In the south of the country, specifically southern Upper Egypt and the Red Sea Governorate, these areas are affected by very hot and strong winds that stir up dust waves. Extremely hot and dusty weather prevails, with highs approaching 40 degrees Celsius in several areas.
During the night hours of Tuesday/Wednesday, the weather will turn pleasant in most areas, but it will tend to be cold in the late night and early morning hours. The winds will be northwesterly and moderate in speed, becoming light in the late night hours.
From the southern regions, the wind direction will shift to northwesterly, with brisk speeds, leading to a significant drop in temperatures and continued dusty conditions.
And God knows best.
