Arab weather - There may be many aspects of receiving the blessed Eid al-Adha throughout the Islamic world, but it remains a special day and one of the most important religious occasions for Muslims, and the joy of Muslims is not complete by the blessed Eid al-Adha except by establishing its prayers, which in addition to the slaughter of the sacrifice is one of the most important aspects that characterize the season Pilgrimage. When is the Eid prayer, and how did our Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, pray it?

When is the Eid prayer?

Eid prayer is a confirmed Sunnah from the Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and it is one of the prayers that are prayed in the squares and mosques inclusive, with the permission of the Muslim to pray in his home in congregation with his family or alone without a sermon, in its known form, and at its known time.

The Eid prayer takes place on the morning of the first days of Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Fitr, when it was proven from the Prophet Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, that he was persistent in it, and he commanded men and women to go out for it. The time for Eid prayer begins after the sun has risen by the amount of a spear, and the scholars have determined it when its redness has passed, and its time ends with the sun’s disappearance.

According to the jurists, the Eid al-Adha prayer is religiously performed after sunrise and its height is a spear, which is approximately 15 to 20 minutes after the time of sunrise.

How to perform the Eid al-Adha prayer?

Our master Muhammad, may the peace and blessings of God be upon him, used to start the prayer before the sermon, pray two rak’ahs, say seven takbeers in succession with the opening takbeer, keep silent between each two takbeers with a slight stroke, and raise his hands with each takbeer. If he completes the takbeer, he begins to recite, then recites the Fatiha of the Book, then recites after that (Q and the Glorious Qur’an) in one of the two rak’ahs, and in the other (the hour has approached and the moon has split). And perhaps he recited in them (Glory to the name of your Lord, the Most High), and (Has the hadith of Al-Ghasheya come to you) this and this is true of him, and nothing else is authenticated from him.

When he finishes the recitation, he says the takbeer and bows, then if he completes the rak’ah, and gets up from prostration (to the second rak’ah) he says takbeer five consecutively.

And when he, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, would complete the prayer, he would stand facing the people, and the people were sitting on their rows, admonishing them and advising them, ordering them and forbidding them. .
