Weather of Arabia - The spokesman for the Palestinian government, Ibrahim Melhem, announced, based on the decision of the Council of Ministers during the weekly session on Monday, the extension of work in winter time until the end of the upcoming Eid Al-Fitr holiday.
In the context, Melhem mentioned that the working hours of public servants during the month of Ramadan will be from 9 am to 2 pm.
It was expected that daylight saving time would begin in Palestine this year, starting from the dawn of Saturday, which falls on (25) March, by advancing the clock by 60 minutes at twelve midnight on Friday / Saturday, to become 1:00 in the morning.
However, after the decision of the Council of Ministers, daylight saving time will begin in Palestine after the end of the Eid al-Fitr holiday in April 2023.
Daylight saving time will continue for approximately 6 months until work returns to winter time, with a 60-minute delay starting from the night of the last Friday/Saturday of October of each year.
