On Friday, many countries around the world experienced a sudden internet outage due to a technical glitch, which led to the disruption of operations at airports, airlines, media and banks. However, Sdaya confirmed that the technical and government systems hosted in the Kingdom are operating normally.
The official spokesman for "Sdaya", Engineer Majed Al-Shehri, said in a statement issued today: "From the first moment of the technical malfunction, our national technical teams were following up on the work of the internal systems and government systems hosted by us, and they were not exposed to any malfunction."
Al-Shehri explained that the systems were built by qualified national cadres in the fields of computer technology and programming, at the highest level of technical construction, which ensures rapid transition from one system to another in the event of any technical malfunction, as happened today. These statements came according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
