The weather will be hot on the north coast and hot to very hot in the rest of the regions, with maximum temperatures exceeding the mid-thirties Celsius in a number of areas, including the capital, Cairo. The winds will be southwesterly, moderate in speed, accompanied by strong gusts laden with sand, which will lead to sandstorms and reduced horizontal visibility.

The Khamasin depression will be centered in the north of the Republic on Thursday/Friday night, and the weather will be warmer than usual at night, except for the coasts.

During the night hours of Thursday/Friday, the low pressure system will be centered in the north of the country before moving towards the Mediterranean Sea.
