Weather of Arabia - The displaced people in the southern Gaza Strip expect their humanitarian suffering to increase with the beginning of winter, as rainwater falls on them, and their tents are flooded with water, and the tent residents in Khan Yunis live in fear of the arrival of winter with all its harshness in the coming days, as temperatures drop, The intensity of rainfall is increasing.
These displaced people live in harsh conditions, especially children, women and the elderly, as they lack the simplest means of protection from the cold and rain in their plastic tents, and their suffering increases in light of the Israeli attack that has not stopped, which puts them in a difficult situation that requires urgent response.
In recent days, Gaza witnessed two expressive scenes that represent the reality of life in the Strip.
In the first scene , children appeared expressing their joy at the rain, as they danced and showed their happiness under the heavy raindrops, and Palestinian families collected rainwater, to meet their water needs due to the water outage in the Gaza Strip for more than 40 days .
Regarding the second scene , the heavy rains affected the refugee camps and shelter centers in Gaza, as those areas were immersed in water and mud, and seeped into the tents, turning everything in them into an unfit place for residence, and the conditions of the displaced people living in these camps worsened, as they were detained in Dry corners and others forced to sit in safe spots trying to avoid getting wet; Due to water leakage from all directions as a result of heavy rain.
Through scenes of their daily lives, the displaced people show how they deal with these difficult conditions, and how they try to stay afloat, despite the challenges they face in light of the harsh weather conditions.
