Ingredients:
- 1 piece of beef fillet.
- Quarter teaspoon of salt.
- A quarter teaspoon of paprika (sweet pepper).
- quarter tea spoon of black Peper.
- A quarter teaspoon of fine coriander.
- Two tablespoons of finely chopped parsley for garnish.
- Mushroom sauce.
- 4 tablespoons oil.
- 1 onion, sliced.
- 2 crushed garlic cloves.
- 20 whole mushrooms.
- 5 finely chopped mushrooms.
- 1 cup cream
- Half a cup of water or broth.
How to prepare:
1. Cut the fillet into slices approximately 1 inch thick.
2. Place the fillet pieces between two pieces of parchment paper and beat them slightly with a meat mallet
3. Sprinkle salt, paprika, pepper, and coriander on it and stir to coat it on both sides.
4. In a thick-bottomed frying pan, heat 2 tablespoons of oil. Place the fillet slices and press them until they are well browned, then flip them to the other side to brown and cook completely. Take them out of the frying pan, keep them hot.
5. Mushroom sauce: To the same pan, add the rest of the oil, add the onions and garlic, stir until the onions wilt, add the whole and chopped mushrooms, stir until the mushrooms become dark in color.
6. Add the cream, broth or water, and let the sauce boil over low heat for 4-5 minutes.
7. You can add grilled steak pieces to the sauce and pour them into a serving dish and garnish with parsley, or serve each item in a separate dish and garnish with parsley.
8. Serve with roasted potatoes or boiled vegetables.
