Arabia Weather - The latest satellite images from the Arab Weather Center indicate that parts of southern Egypt continue to be affected by thunderclouds resulting from the flow of tropical moisture due to the advance of the tropical dividing line towards the region.
The same maps indicate that thunderclouds are currently active south of the city of Aswan, moving towards the west and northwest, and are expected to affect the city in the coming time. These clouds are accompanied by the occurrence of thunderstorms and the activity of descending winds that stir up dust and sand.
Today, Wednesday, the city of Aswan was exposed to a dust storm that led to low visibility, and heavy rain fell on some areas in the south of the country and led to the formation of torrents in some areas. Below are excerpts from the heavy rain and dust storm that affected the city of Aswan today:
