Air instability:

• The conditions of atmospheric instability are completely different from the depressions. They are independent of themselves, by their nature and their effects, and are never identical to those of depressions.

• Local atmospheric instability arises when warm air currents in the lower layers meet with cold air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere in conjunction with the presence of moisture and when these factors meet in a region, instability arises, forming cumulonimbus clouds with vertical growth and thus precipitation.

• Cases of instability are characterized by irregularity in the distribution of places and intensity of precipitation of different types, so that a region may witness rain and form torrents, and another area close to it does not witness any rain or witness light rain, and the weather may be sunny and stable.

• Cases of atmospheric instability are accompanied by several weather phenomena that vary according to the severity of the situation, perhaps the most important of which are heavy rains, thunderstorms and lightning strikes, gusts of descending (strong) winds that work to form sandstorms in desert areas, hail of large volumes and high intensity. The instability of temperatures, at high or low, can arise when the temperature is 40 ° or below, in very rare cases snow falls in instability.

• Instability situations are characterized by a high risk as a result of large amounts of rain falling in a narrow geographical focus and for a short period of time, if 100 mm can fall in a short time and in a narrow geographical focus, which leads to the formation of torrential torrents, and this varies according to the severity of the situation.
