Arab Weather - The Directorate General of Meteorology in the Sultanate of Oman confirmed the monitoring of a tropical depression this morning, Thursday, in the Arabian Sea.

A tweet posted on their official account stated:

"Updates of the expected tropical situation on the Arabian Sea: - Monitoring a tropical depression in the northeast of the Arabian Sea, where the wind speed ranges around the center (17-27) knots and moves northwest along the Indian coasts."
