Jabal Shams rises about 3009 meters above sea level and this rise has helped to change the climate from the other areas of the Sultanate, and Jabal Shams is the highest mountain peak in the Sultanate of Oman, and the place is unique in temperate temperature in the summer and reach between 26 and 25 degrees Celsius and the cold that reaches freezing and snowfall in winter as the temperature reaches below zero Celsius in some winter nights.
