The western and northern regions of Iraq, God willing, are affected on Wednesday/Thursday night by a cold air mass, so temperatures drop significantly and rapidly in those areas, and the weather turns to be cold to very cold and humid in those areas, while night temperatures rise in the rest of the regions and the weather tends to cold to Relatively cold in other regions.
There is a decrease in temperatures in various regions on Thursday, the decrease is noticeable in the northern and western regions, and the weather is relatively cold to cold in the western and northern regions, while it is pleasant in the central regions, and warm in the far southern regions.
Night temperatures drop again on Thursday/Friday night compared to the previous night, and the weather is very cold in the northern highlands, while it is generally cold in the rest of the regions, very cold in the western regions, where temperatures touch zero degrees Celsius in those areas after midnight, coinciding with With high levels of surface humidity and the formation of fog in separate areas of the north of the country.
It is expected, God willing, that the result of a cold air mass rushing towards Iraq coincides with the remnants of the warm air mass, as a state of atmospheric instability will arise from after midnight on Wednesday / Thursday, and during Thursday, when clouds appear at different heights in separate areas, especially the northern ones, and fall Random showers of rain are concentrated in the northern regions, and parts of the southern regions. It is not excluded that the rain will be thunderstorms over some areas, and it may affect the capital, Baghdad, for some time.
It is also not excluded that the rains will be heavy at times in narrow geographic ranges from the far north, and snow showers will fall on the towering northern peaks.
It is expected, God willing, that moderate to brisk northwesterly winds will blow on Wednesday, accompanied by strong gusts at times that stir dust and dust, and may form dust waves in many areas of the country.
On Thursday, the direction of the wind turns to be northwesterly to northwesterly, southeasterly to the eastern regions. Its intensity is moderate to active, with overall speed, accompanied by strong flashes sometimes in some areas.
