In detail, weather experts at the Arab Weather Center said that Iraq will be affected by an air mass with lower temperatures than usual starting from Thursday and continuing until the end of the week, and thus temperatures will drop, especially in the western regions, and temperatures will become lower than their average for this time of year by about 3-4 degrees, and the weather will be moderate in the western regions, and hot summer in the rest of the regions, especially in the southern regions, but with less intensity than before.
Winds will be westerly to northwesterly, moderate in speed, sometimes active and accompanied by strong gusts that will cause dust and dirt to rise, especially in the southeastern regions.
Temperature forecast maps indicate that temperatures in the capital, Baghdad, will drop below the mid-forties Celsius at the end of the week for the first time since the beginning of August, with maximum temperatures around 40-41 degrees Celsius in the capital and various cities of Iraq, God willing, while they will be in the mid-thirties Celsius in the western regions.
Night temperatures will also drop at the end of the week compared to previous nights, and the weather in the late night hours will be moderate in the western regions, pleasant to relatively cold in the northern highlands, and warm in the rest of the regions, with temperatures in the late twenties Celsius in the capital, Baghdad, during the late night hours.
