Iraq | Rain is expected today, Saturday, in several governorates, sometimes heavy

Arabia Weather - The latest updates and data received at the “Arab Weather” Center indicate that large areas of the south, west, and parts of the center of the country are expected to be affected by a rainy condition, as a result of a state of air instability affecting the region.

Rain is expected to fall initially in the western and southwestern regions of the country in the morning and noon hours, including parts of Anbar, Najaf, and Muthanna, and gradually including parts of the governorates of Basra, Dhi Qar, Al-Qadisiyah, Babil, Karbala, and Maysan in the afternoon and afternoon hours, and the weather will be relatively cold until Pleasant in various regions and cold in the high mountainous areas in the north of the country.

In the evening and night hours, rain is expected to be heavier in the western and southwestern regions of the country, specifically Anbar Governorate and parts of Najaf and Karbala. It may be accompanied by lightning, thunder, and hail showers at times, so please be aware of the formation of torrents in those areas.

Chances of rain may also extend to the capital, Baghdad, during the night hours, and the weather will be relatively cold in various regions and very cold in the high mountain highlands in the north, and the rain will gradually move to the eastern parts to include parts of Diyala, Wasit, and Maysan governorates, especially during the dawn and early morning hours of Sunday.
