Arab Weather - Weather experts at the Arab Weather Regional Center said that the passage of the upper air depression causes a clear intensification of the severity of the state of instability during the hours of Saturday/Sunday night and Sunday dawn and day, as cumulus clouds multiply with heavy rain showers falling on different areas, concentrated in the northern regions, and are sometimes very heavy and accompanied by strong thunderstorms and lightning, and showers of heavy accumulated hail. As a result, the risks of valleys flowing and the formation of flash floods increase.
Dense fog also forms over the northern regions as a result of the passage of low clouds touching the ground surface, and it takes the form of frozen fog over the northern peaks as a result of the low temperatures in those regions, and the winds are moderate easterly, accompanied by active gusts that stir up dust and dirt.
Temperatures drop slightly to become 3-5 degrees Celsius lower than their average for this time of year, and the weather is moderate autumnal during the day in most areas, including the capital, Baghdad.
The high impact of the atmospheric instability continues, especially in the northern regions, where cumulus clouds multiply with heavy rain showers falling on different regions, concentrated in the northern regions, and sometimes very heavy and accompanied by strong thunderstorms and lightning, and showers of heavy accumulated hail. As a result, the risks of valleys flowing and flash floods increase.
The winds are moderate southeasterly, accompanied by active gusts that stir up dust and dirt.
