Iraq Weekly Bulletin | Nice to cold weather, and unstable weather conditions are expected in the second half of the week

Arab Weather - The latest output of the numerical weather models processed by the Weather Operations Department at the Arab Regional Weather Center indicates fluctuations in temperature during the coming days.

The weather is cold in the northern peaks, while it is pleasant to cold in the rest of the regions, especially the northern and western ones, with the appearance of clouds at different heights, especially the high ones.

Cold and humid nights with frost and freezing in the northern high peaks

The weather is very cold in the northern mountainous highlands, with frost and freezing forming in some peaks as a result of temperatures dropping to zero degrees Celsius or less, while the weather is cold to very cold in the rest of the regions at the late night hours, especially over the northern and western regions.

Minimum temperatures are less than 10 degrees Celsius over large areas of the country, including the capital, Baghdad.

Coinciding with the occurrence of a noticeable rise in the surface humidity levels to exceed the 90% barrier over some areas, which causes the formation of fog in parts of the country during some nights, especially the southern parts of it.

Northwesterly to southwesterly winds

Northwesterly winds will become southwesterly in the coming days, with moderate speed, sometimes active over some areas, accompanied by strong gusts that stir up dust and may form dust waves.

Monitoring the emergence of unstable weather conditions in some areas

The weather forecast staff at the Arab Regional Weather Center monitors the possibility of unstable weather conditions emerging after the middle and end of the week, with which chances of rain showers rise in some areas, details later when the duration approaches and the outputs are stable.
