Arab Weather - SpaceX has successfully completed a test space flight of its Starship spacecraft, as the spacecraft ascended to an altitude of 200 kilometers above the Earth's surface and landed safely in the Indian Ocean. At the same time, the first stage of the super-heavy rocket returned to Earth and landed successfully on a marine platform, where it was picked up by specialized robots. This success confirms the effectiveness of the technology that Elon Musk, the company's CEO, insisted on applying, which has proven its worth in achieving amazing results.
The Starship super-heavy system developed by SpaceX is a major achievement in space engineering, and perhaps one of the most important space technology innovations of the first half of the 21st century. The system consists of two main parts: the Super Heavy rocket, and the Starship spacecraft, both of which are multi-purpose.
Unlike conventional spacecraft made of aluminum, Starship is made of corrosion-resistant steel, which is highly resistant to extreme heat and pressure when returning to Earth. The Super Heavy rocket, consisting of a first stage, is 71 meters high and 9 meters wide, with a fuel tank capacity of 3,600 tons, including 2,800 tons of liquid oxygen and 800 tons of liquid methane. To lift this massive weight into space, the rocket is equipped with 33 Raptor engines.

The Starship system can carry a payload of 100 to 150 tons to low Earth orbit, or 250 tons if the rocket is used once. This system is multi-purpose, as it can deliver payloads to low Earth orbit, in addition to carrying out space missions to the moon and Mars, opening new horizons for space exploration.
