Arab Weather - According to the Meteorological Authority, the month of January is always famous for very cold weather and large amounts of rain, especially on the northern coasts.

However, according to the stations' recordings and the climatic record within the General Meteorological Authority, it is clear that the temperature rises for a period of one day, and then it quickly decreases after that, just as the days of stability and the water mist were repeated in previous years.

Here are some of the temperatures recorded in Cairo in previous years from the monitoring stations of the General Meteorological Authority:

• On January 7 and 13, 2003, the temperature was 27 degrees.
• On January 29, 2005, the temperature reached 29 degrees
• On January 9, 2010, the temperature reached 29 degrees
• On January 21, 2013, the temperature reached 28 degrees
• On January 26, 2014, the temperature was 27 degrees
• On January 22, 2015, the temperature was 26 degrees
• On January 12, 2021, the temperature recorded 28 degrees

Thus, the rise in temperatures and stability witnessed in January this year is not surprising from previous years, but when we judge the change in the state of the atmosphere, we must have sufficient data from previous years.
And within the next 48 hours, all parts of the country will indeed witness a rise in temperatures by values of up to 4 degrees, and the southern winds will activate in most areas, accompanied by dust raised on the exposed areas.

It is expected that Cairo will record 26 degrees during this period, and the temperature in southern Upper Egypt will reach 30 degrees.

In the end, we must note that this situation will not remain for much, so we must not be deceived by this, especially since we are still in the winter season, as it is expected that we will be affected by the weather depressions in the coming period.
