Jeddah: In light of the dusty weather in the city, find out when the weather will improve

Weather of Arabia - The city of Jeddah has been affected since the morning hours of Thursday 17-03-2022 by the blowing of the youthful winds, which, God willing, stirred up dust and dust unevenly from one region to another, and as a result, the horizontal visibility decreased significantly to less than 800 meters, especially in north of the city.

The computer modeling maps developed in the Arab Weather Center indicate that the winds will shift from northeast to northwest after noon hours, so that the dusty weather will gradually recede and the atmosphere will improve in those areas, God willing.

The scientific reason is due to the blowing of the Saba winds on the city of Jeddah; As a result of the control of a superficial cold air mass over large parts of northern and central Saudi Arabia, which works to control a superficial air rise over those areas, and because of the high density of cold air, it rushes west towards the Hijaz Mountains, and the Hijaz Mountains act as a barrier that prevents the cold air from moving west. Towards the Red Sea, the cold air does not find its way to the west except through the corridors between the mountains, and therefore its speed increases and rushes strongly towards the coastal areas, which works to raise dust.
