Today, the Saudi Motorsports Company welcomed the announcement of the date for the return of the Formula 1 Saudi Grand Prix to Jeddah, home to the fastest street circuit in the world, from March 7 to March 9, 2024.

The fourth visit of the World Motorsports Summit to Saudi Arabia will see a new format for the weekend. Where the main Grand Prix will be held for the first time in the Kingdom on Saturday evening; This is to avoid its possible conflict with the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan next year.

This comes as part of today's announcement of the tentative schedule for the 2024 Formula 1 World Championship season; The weekend in Jeddah will be the second of the season again, when the championship is wide open for everyone to enjoy the thrill of racing under the floodlights on the stunning shores of the Red Sea.

Prince Khaled bin Sultan Al-Abdullah Al-Faisal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Motorsports Federation and the Saudi Motorsports Company; He was pleased to confirm the date of the fourth Formula 1 race in Jeddah.

He said, "Everyone in the Saudi Motorsports Company and the Saudi Motorsports Federation is looking forward to the return of the Formula 1 race to Jeddah during the Formula 1 Saudi Grand Prix for the fourth time, from 7 to 9 March next."

He added: “Jeddah Corniche Circuit continues to confirm its worth as one of the most difficult circuits on the Formula 1 calendar, as it has witnessed over the past three seasons distinguished races full of excitement and enthusiasm, and we will strive to provide an integrated program of activities that are suitable for all family members, throughout the three days of the race. On and off the racetrack, along with an amazing concert program featuring some of the world’s most famous and brightest stars, ensuring that the event caters to all tastes, and I look forward to welcoming Formula 1 teams, drivers and fans to Jeddah again for the 2024 Formula 1 Saudi Grand Prix.”
