Injuries, recovery and checks:
Today (8) new cases of coronavirus were recorded, all of them local, as follows:
(4) Cases of people coming from abroad, who reside in Al-Hajar hotels. (2 from Saudi Arabia, 1 from Syria, and 1 from the United States of America).
(4) Cases of Jordanian truck drivers arriving across the Al-Omari border.
This brings the total number of cases in the Kingdom to 1176.
Today, no recovery has been recorded.
- 6281 laboratory tests were performed, bringing the total number of tests conducted to date (571390).

Other actions:
- The Ministry of Health warns of any practices that violate public safety and prevention measures, especially the establishment of gatherings for more than (20) people; Penalties stipulated under defense orders will be applied against violators.

- The Ministry also calls for the necessity of commitment to wearing masks, physical distance, and adopting all means of prevention, and using the (safety) application and the application of (your health), in light of the increasing number of cases globally, and the spread of the epidemic in many countries of the world and the region.
